Welcome to Critical ("Critical", "the app", "we", "us", or "our"), a social movie review app operated by Greenswings. These Terms of Service and Community Guidelines (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of Critical. Please read them carefully.
You accept these Terms when you create an account (you are asked to agree to them during registration) and each time you use the app. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account or use Critical. Your continued use of the app means you continue to accept these Terms and any updates to them.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Critical. The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow them to create accounts.
You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for the activity that happens under your account. Please provide accurate information and let us know if you believe your account has been compromised.
You keep ownership of the reviews, discussions, comments, lists, and images you create or upload ("your content"). To operate Critical, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your content within the app so that it can be shown to you and to other users as part of the service. This license exists only so we can run the app and ends when your content or your account is deleted, except for content others have already interacted with or copies retained as required by law or for backup.
Critical has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. The following are prohibited on Critical:
Content or accounts that violate these guidelines may have content removed and may be suspended or terminated.
Critical gives every user tools to keep their experience safe:
We aim to review every report within 24 hours and take appropriate action, which may include removing content or terminating accounts.
We may, at our discretion and without prior notice, remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that we believe violates these Terms, is objectionable, or is harmful to other users or to the service.
Critical displays movie information retrieved from The Movie Database (TMDB). This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. TMDB's own terms and data apply to that information.
Critical is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that the content on it is accurate or reliable. You use Critical at your own discretion and risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Greenswings and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) Critical or any content on it.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Significant changes may also be communicated in the app. Your continued use of Critical after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
